长期从事凝聚态物理强关联材料理论与材料研究。包括重费米子体系、稀土单质与化合物物性研究、高温超导材料机理研究、阻挫体系量子自旋液体与相图研究、负热膨胀材料与机理、以及关联体系复杂磁性研究。发展强关联材料计算方法,试图进行中高熵合金关联效应研究以及人工智能应用于强关联材料基础物性的尝试。
