Profile

Xiaoyi Tang is an Associate Professor and project-based master's supervisor in the School of Foreign Studies at the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), where she teaches in the Graduate English Division. She received her Ph.D. in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from USTB in 2022 and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at USTB from 2022 to 2024. Her research interests include computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, automated writing assessment, and AI-enhanced foreign language education. She has led projects supported by the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Youth Fund, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and the K. C. Wong Education Foundation. Her work has appeared in Electronics, Linguistics Vanguard, Heliyon, Applied Sciences, Discourse Studies, Gender and Language, and other journals.
