Dr. Khan has an extensive experience in the application of geophysical techniques for understanding subsurface geology (shallow and deep earth). Does research in applied geophysics, solid geophysics, tectonophysics, hydrogeology, and underground engineering feasibility studies. Special interests include sedimentary basins analysis, regional tectonics, seismic sequence stratigraphy, petroleum geology, and geological disasters in underground engineering. He has published numerous publications in high-ranking international journals. Dr. Khan is leading several research projects as the PI including National Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Beijing Natural Science Foundation (BJNSF), Ministry of Science and Technology China (MOST), etc amounting 172万人民币元. He introduced novel methodologies for applications of geophysics in understanding underground geological processes. He has acquired teaching, research, students’ supervision, and internationalization experiences. He won number of renowned awards. He has also earned several academic titles and honors
