Research on evaluation methods and mechanisms of thermophysical properties of advanced materials: including thermal insulation, thermal barrier coatings, film materials, composite materials, nano materials and other thermal transport measurement technologies (3 ω Technology, Raman Microscopy, Scanning Thermal Microscopy), numerical simulation development and micro mechanism analysis; 2. Research and development of nano carbon materials for thermal management: characterization of thermal and electrical properties of carbon fibers, carbon nanotubes and composites assembled from them, design and development of thermal management devices based on carbon nanotube arrays and fibers; 3. New applications of phase change heat storage: heat transfer and storage characterization of phase change microcapsules, numerical simulation of heat storage and release process, and microencapsulation development of metal based phase change materials for high temperature heat storage. |
