The school held the closing ceremony of the 2023-2024 academic year and the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 academic year for the Young Marxists Training Project.
On November 14th, the closing ceremony of the 2023-2024 academic year and the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 academic year for the School's Young Marxists Training Program were held in the library lecture hall. Yu Chengwen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, attended the event and delivered a speech. More than 100 people participated in the event, including responsible comrades from relevant secondary units, secretaries of various secondary youth organizations, mentors of the Young Marxists class, class teachers, and student representatives. The event was hosted by Li Xiang, the head of the Youth League Committee Organization Department.

At the meeting, teachers and students present watched the review video of the 'Youth Ma Project' for the 2023-2024 academic year together. Over the past year, 'Beike Youth Ma' has achieved remarkable results in solidifying theoretical foundations, improving comprehensive qualities, and promoting political and ideological progress through a training model that organically combines strengthening theoretical learning, red education, and practical exercises.
Vice Secretary of the Youth League Committee Liang Zhiyang and Vice Dean of the School of Marxism Yang Xingye presented the completion certificates to the representatives of the 2023-2024 Youth Ma Class students. Zhao Yingbo, representing the graduates, said that the rich and colorful practical activities and the warm and enthusiastic learning atmosphere of the 'Youth Ma Project' not only deepened the students' understanding of Marxist theory but also strengthened their sense of belonging to the big family of the 'Youth Ma Project'.
Wang Haibo introduced the 2024-2025 Youth Ma Class training plan, calling on all students to continue to strive in the new era and new journey, to seek true knowledge, enhance abilities, increase talents, and achieve great success through reading, studying, and practical training.
Vice Minister of the Party Committee Organization Department Cheng Haiyu and Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Department (Office) Liu Zhen presented appointment letters to mentors and class advisors; Vice Minister of the Party Committee Propaganda Department Wang Lihong and Deputy Minister of the Teachers' Affairs Department Li Xiafei distributed study materials to student representatives; Yu Chengwen presented the flag to the members of the Qingma Class for the 2024-2025 academic year. Afterwards, all new students took the oath together.
Yu Chengwen made a concluding speech. He put forward three hopes for the "Youth Ma Project" students on how to deepen their learning and play a role: first, to temper the political character of loyalty to the Party; second, to build a solid theoretical foundation of systematic science; third, to strive to be pioneers who are willing to take on responsibilities. He called on the students to learn the spirit of red, the spirit of craftsmanship, and the spirit of steel, to internalize it in their hearts, externalize it in their actions, and persevere in their efforts, to show their youth in the fiery practice of building a strong country and national rejuvenation.
Subsequently, Professor Wang Minzhong, Vice Director of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Learning Committee, delivered the first report of the 'Youth Ma Project' for the 2024-2025 academic year. Starting with the Party's attention and care for the youth since the 18th National Congress, Wang Minzhong lectured on how to be a sprinter for the second centenary goal, to run well in the relay race of building a strong country and national rejuvenation, and called on the students to firm up their confidence in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, to establish the lofty aspirations of serving the country and strengthening the nation, and to be strivers with backbone and responsibility.
