Profile
I am currently an associate professor at the School of Computer and Communication Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, where my research interests mainly revolve around affective computing, especially facial expression recognition and remote-Photoplethysmograph (rPPG) for emotion analysis. This research is at the intersection of computer science, psychology, and optics. I received my Ph.D. from Beijing Institute of Technology, where I studied 3D display quality assessment and human 3D perception. During that, I was a visiting graduate student in the visual attention lab at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital from Sep. 2015 to Sep. 2017.
