Using AI to empower advanced transmission electron microscopy, enabling multi-dimensional, multi-field, and multi-modal atom/electron imaging, and investigating the influence of real-space local microstructure on the properties of functional materials.
Principal Investigator of multiple projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the National Postdoctoral Program, and the Tsinghua University Shuimu Scholar Program. Published over 40 papers in journals such as Nat. Mater., Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., JACS, Angew, Nano Lett., Small, and Ultramicroscopy. Received awards and funding from the China Scholarship Council, the Chinese Electron Microscopy Society, the Royal Microscopical Society (UK), the Institute of Physics (UK), and the European Microscopy Society. Maintains strong collaborative relationships with universities and research institutes including Tsinghua University, the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, the University of Manchester, and Cardiff University.
