博士，担任岳阳市重点实验室副主任、学术咨询委员会专家，研究方向为过程建模、控制及优化，智能故障检测与诊断。入选国家资助博士后研究人员计划（B档），主持国家自然科学基金（[C类]原国家自然科学青年基金），湖南省自然科学青年基金项目，中国博士后面上基金项目，教育部工程研究中心开放基金，博士后业绩评估三档，参与国家自然科学基金、横向项目若干。在IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics、IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics、IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics、IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering、IEEE Internet of Things Journal、IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement等国内外期刊和会议上发表论文10余篇，申请国家发明专利9项。担任Intelligence & Robotics青年编委，多个IEEE Trans期刊审稿人。
