摘要:Materials failure cases are typical examples of failed materials or components during their service. Statistical data of failure cases is very important to improve the design and maintenance strategy. Usually statistical data of failure cases is manually collected and analyzed by domain experts, because this procedure needs sufficient domain knowledge. It is a time-consuming task. This paper proposes a novel method to automatically get statistical data of failure cases aided by ontology. An application of failure case statistics in nuclear power plant is also described. Through the application result, the method shows that it can obviously improve the efficiency and precision of data statistics. Based on the statistical data, case analysis is easily made by researchers and engineers to assess service safety and improve the design and maintenance strategy.
