Lin Qiu is a professor/Ph.D. supervisor, and selected into the talent program of "Excellent Youth Scholar of NSFC (2022)", "Beijing Nova Program (2020)" and “Dingxin Scholar of University of Science and Technology Beijing”. She also serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Autinst Technology co., Ltd..

Her research focus on thermophysical evaluation methods and heat transport mechanism of advanced materials, wearable sensors and devices for physiological monitoring, high throughput design, calculation and preparation of low-dimensional carbon materials. She has presided over 4 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Additionally, she has led research tasks under the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Foreign Experts Program, the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, the Beijing Science and Technology Nova Program, the Cross-disciplinary Collaboration Project of the Science and Technology Nova Program, as well as provincial/ministerial-level vertical projects and multiple enterprise-funded research initiatives.She has edited 1 English monograph and 2 textbooks. As the first or corresponding author, She has published 96 SCI papers in international high-level journals such as Phys. Rep., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.(3), SmartMat(2), with a total of over 3,300 citations. Her H-Index is 33. 4 papers have been selected as ESI highly cited papers (2 hot papers). 2 articles have been included in the cover/beginning illustrations of journals. She has been granted 14 invention patents, 2 software Copyrights, and 1 provincial or ministerial-level award. She serves as Associate Editor of Rev. Sci.Instrum, editor of Thermochimica Acta, editorial board member of Carbon, Appl.Therm.Eng., Sci.Rep., J. Therm.Sci., ACS Appl.Engin.Mater..
